Pupils in years 7, 8 and 9 have each created a clay poppy for Remembrance Day during two of their art lessons, either side of the half term. The first lesson focused on building their poppy out of air-dry clay and the second, painting it in the distinctive red and black colours we associate with Remembrance Day poppies. They should be really proud of their efforts, the poppies are being displayed by the outdoor chapel and look incredible. They will help support our school community commemorate Remembrance Day.
