Our year 7 and 8 pupils have read over 1000 hours on the Sparx Reader platform. Pupils in year 8 have completed it in just over eight weeks and pupils in year 7 in just over three weeks, which is a fantastic achievement! Sparx Reader is an online reading platform that is used both in form time and for reading at home. Pupils can choose their own books and even earn Gold Reader. We will have prizes for the forms in year 7 and 8 that read the most each term, plus prizes for those pupils reading above and beyond.
