Ms Murphy, Head of Art, has linked Year 7 and 8’s art lessons around the shortlisted titles for the Carnegie Medal for Illustration, focussing on one of the books The Search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish. The classes have been responding to a challenge set by the author and illustrator of the book, Chloe Savage to create a giant jellyfish. We can’t wait to see it when it is finished!
