Following the success of the school Book Swap the library team will be holding 'Get Caught Reading Week!' after half term. The aim of the week is to reward children found reading in their spare time, they might be reading in the library, in the yard or anywhere in school during break and lunch.
The school has signed up to Lancashire's year of reading in 2018. Part of the pledge is to encourage reading for pleasure, which the week will promote.
'Get Caught Reading Week!' will run from 4th - 8th June 2018. Pupils should bring a reading book into school every day of the week. We look forward to finding out what pupils are reading.
