To celebrate the arrival of Marvel comics in the school library, school librarian Adam came up with the idea of showing one of the Marvel films. The screening proved very popular, with lots of pupils buying tickets to see the film over three lunchtimes.

Adam, who is in year 8, said, " The screening of Marvel's 'Infinity War' in the library was a great success. Over £140 was raised, half of it going to the Canterbury House charity the Ronald McDonald Childrens' Home in Manchester, and the other going to library funds used for buying new stock and setting up events. The movie went very well as lots of people came and enjoyed it together. The library has plans for other movies that will be shown in the future."
