“The Monstrous Child” is a very gripping book that I couldn’t put down. I enjoyed the beginning and middle, although I felt that the ending was very fast-paced and, for me, a little disappointing. I think I was expecting something different to happen. I liked the portrayal of the Norse gods and particularly Odin. I would rate it 6 out of 10.
