On Sunday 20th November Archbishop Temple School’s Junior and Senior Concert Bands travelled to Oldham with Mrs Gardner to take part in the regional round of the National Concert Band Festival. The bands did not compete against each other, instead they were adjudicated against set criteria receiving a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Award.
The Junior Concert Band competed in the Junior Band Category and did tremendously well achieving a Gold Award with some Platinum ticks. The Senior Concert Band took part in the Wind Band Category. They also did incredibly well, surpassing previous awards, achieving a Gold Award with a Platinum tick. Well done to everyone who took part.
