The Year 7 boys sporting success continued this week as the basketball team qualified for the Lancashire Final 4 night. After winning their group comfortably with 3 wins out of 3 against Corpus Christi Catholic High, Our Lady's Catholic High and Broughton High they played St. Augustine's Catholic High from Blackburn in the quarter final.
After a tight first quarter the team blew St Augustine's away racing into a 10 point lead. The team kept up the performance and eventually ran out 33 - 18 winners. Star performers on the day were Jake Forshaw who was leading points scorer and James Nelson.
The boys will now play in the finals night before Easter.
