We celebrated Red Nose Day at Archbishop in Generation Game style this year.
Teams of teachers from each house participated in a set of challenges. Videos of staff performing their own talents were played and a representative from each team had to recreate that talent live in front of over 200 pupils. Some challenges were just difficult like the blindfolded netball shooting and juggling of footballs set by Mr Taberner and Mr Gray. Others were just plain silly like Mr Alston’s miraculous eyebrow control, watching the staff try to do the same was hilarious. One of the most impressive talents was shown off by Miss McKenna who was able to walk half the length of the sports hall on her hands. Surprisingly the most impressive attempt at recreating this feat was by Mr Stringfellow who took a whole two steps on his hands. Everyone who attended had a great time and special thanks must go to Miss Walsh for organising the event and Mr Baines for compering. An excellent £292.58 was raised for Comic Relief.
