A cake sale took place in school yesterday to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The charity funds ground-breaking research into cystic fibrosis and provides care and support for those living with condition, and their loved ones.  The sale was organised by Madame Bergon, Head of Durham House, and raised £30.

On Friday, there will be a school-wide charity fundraising endeavour as all pupils and staff are invited to don their denim and donate a £1 for the Jeans for Genes Charity. The event has been organised by Miss Catterall, Head of IT and Computing, whose 9 year old niece has the chromosome abnormality known as Isodicentric 15 (Idic 15). Further information about the event can be found here.

Finally Mrs Stubbs' lunch club will be taking part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning, in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, on Wednesday 26th September at breaktime. Pupils will be able to buy cakes from 10.55am - 11.15am. If you would like to donate any cakes please contact Mrs Stubbs via the contact page on the school website
