Fresh, New Look for the Sports Hall

Over the summer holidays, new flooring was installed in the sports hall, enabling the PE department to expand the range of sports the school is able to offer.

“The PE department are delighted with the newly refurbished sports hall floor,” said Mr D Taberner, Head of PE. “The quality of the floor is exceptional and has allowed us to host more District competitions with the new sports we are able to provide.  It has also made the sports hall feel a lot brighter with the newly painted walls.  We are extremely thankful for the work gone on behind the scenes to give our students another wonderful facility.”

Pupils were keen to use the new-look sports hall, with many signing up for the lunchtime and after school sports clubs.

“The refurbished sports hall is a reflection of our eagerness to play sport,” said Winchester House Captain, Xin.

“The lighter colours make it more inviting for pupils taking part in extra-curricular sports,” said Karol, Head Boy.
