From the 19th March to the 29th March the mathematics department encouraged Key Stage 3 to take part in a national competition run by games learning platform Mangahigh called 'Cracking the Code'. Students had to play a variety of maths games to improve their mental maths skills and win medals along the way. 17,000 students in the UK took part, with Archbishop Temple coming 5th and winning £100. The mathematics department congratulates all the students who took part, for their valiant effort and are now considering ideas on how to use the money.
The main winners each received a certificate, house points and an early Easter egg!
