On Wednesday 20th November 2019, we were delighted to welcome our year 11 leavers back into school to enjoy Mrs Higson’s famous hot pot supper and collect their GCSE examination certificates. This summer pupils and staff celebrated another year of superb GCSE results. 83% of pupils achieved five or more good passes at GCSE, including Maths and English.
The evening was a great opportunity for our ex-pupils to catch up with friends, teaching and support staff. Well done to those pupils who also received Subject Achievement Awards, Special Awards and Duke of Edinburgh Certificates.
“The attendance at our Leavers’ Hot Pot Supper was the highest in years. It was wonderful to see so many of our ex-pupils and to catch up with what they are doing now. We continue to wish all of them happiness and success,” said Mrs Siddle, Acting Headteacher.
Many thanks to our accomplished musicians who kept everyone entertained throughout the evening.
