On Friday 12th November, Peter Harrison from FGH Security, and successful Dragon’s Den contestant, came to school to speak with 168 of our pupils who study Business in years 10 and 11. His talk was inspiring and covered aspects of how he built his business, how he has grown it, all about him as a person, the ‘good the bad and the ugly’ of business as well as what leadership is to him and how he holds ‘protecting people’, including his staff, at the forefront of everything.
Peter answered some of our pupils questions and talked about a book that influenced him on being a good business owner, How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie. We are so grateful that he took time out to speak with our pupils and help them to aspire to great things in Business! A lot of pupils spoke afterwards about how inspired they were and what a fantastic talk it was. We wish Peter and FGH Security well and hope that they reach their objective of turning over £25 million by 2025.
Thank you again.
