Just before the Christmas break a group of 40 year 11 History students travelled to the German city to further investigate the rise of Hitler and the Nazi party. The four day trip took in various sites of cultural and historical significance including the Story of Berlin Museum, the Reichstag Building, the Memorial of the Murdered Jews, the House of Wannsee Conference, the Potsdamerplatz Christmas Markets, Sachenhausen concentration camp and the Berlin Olympic Stadium. You can read a detailed account of the trip in the forthcoming edition of Communiqué. In the meantime take a look at a selection of photos and a video from this fascinating trip.
