At present there is no school nurse service being offered in schools due to COVID-19. If parents need to speak to a school nurse urgently they should contact the duty nurse on tel: 0300 2470040 alternatively, if the query /concern is not urgent email: VCL.019.PrestonTeam@nhs.net
Our allocated school nurse is Chantel Weatherburn. Our school nurse is a qualified paediatric nurse and has extensive experience of working with children and adolescents.

Your School Nurses work closely with many other professionals and agencies. These include: Education; Social Care; Children's Centres; Voluntary Groups; GP's; Mental Health Services; Youth and Connections
Your School Nursing Team consists of a School Nurse, Community Staff Nurses, Support Workers and administrative support.

Your contact with the School Nurse is confidential. If the nurse feels that you or someone else is not safe they will share this information but will always discuss this with you first if possible.
