Many churches will Celebrate Harvest this Sunday and so we thought it would be a great way for our school community to get involved in SERVICE by giving.
We are asking if you would like to partake by donating an item of non-perishable food next week. We will then donate the food to local food banks, such as The Salvation Army, The Foxton Centre and others, who will distribute it to people who need help.
To collect a range of food we’re suggesting the following donations
Year 7 - Tinned food
Year 8 - Pasta / rice
Year 9 - Packets of noodles / Cup-a-Soup
Year 10 - Biscuits / crisps
Year 11 - Long life juice / tea / coffee
Pupils should bring the items of food to school and they will be collected in form throughout the week, beginning on Monday 4th October, with the final collection day being Friday 8th October.
Thank you for your help with this, what a great way for everyone to get involved in serving and impacting our community.
Kind regards
Andy Barnett
