Early Help is a proactive approach designed to provide families with timely resources and assistance when challenges or concerns emerge, helping prevent issues from escalating. This support often involves a collaborative effort between families, schools, social services, and other community organisations to holistically address individual and family needs.
At Archbishop Temple Church of England High School, we are committed to our ethos of Faith, Nurture, and Service and understand that it is perfectly normal for all families to need a little extra support from time to time. Our Early Help offer aims to nurture each child’s potential, supporting them and their families through life’s challenges.

If you are concerned about your child’s behaviour, home situation, mental health, or general well-being, please reach out. You can contact your child’s Form Tutor, in the first instance. We are here to listen and support you, helping our young people thrive and truly shine.
It may be that further support requires facilitation through an Early Help Assessment. This is an intervention, carried out in conjunction with a family, to gather, explore and analyse information about all aspects of the child or young person (and their family’s) life, before identifying areas where positive change can be made.
