If the governors at Archbishop Temple School are unable to offer a place due to the over subscription of applicants, then parents/carers have the right to appeal to an independent admission appeal panel, set up under the School Standards and Framework Act, 1998, as amended by the Education Act, 2002.

Forms to lodge an appeal against their decision are found at:

http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/children-education-families/schools/appeal-against-an-admission-decision/secondary-school-appeals.aspx

The completed form is then returned to Archbishop Temple School.

If you wish your child to be added to the waiting list for Archbishop Temple School, please email your details to Mr Carruthers via the school contact form on the school website. However, please be aware that it is very rare for more than one or two pupils to be taken from the waiting list as we are allocated the correct number of pupils by the County Council.
