Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have been unable to follow our usual transition pathways, however, we have made changes to accommodate all our new starters and ensure you have all the information you need. This will include a dedicated welcome day for Year 7 on the first day back in September and further contact with pupils and parents before the end of the summer term.  We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in September.

The video below has been created with the help of our current Year 7 pupils and aims to alleviate any worries or concerns your child may have about starting high school:

Again, we are very pleased to welcome you to our Archbishop Temple family and look forward to a long and happy association with you and your child. Lots more information can be found in our Year 7 Handbook and by clicking the link below, however if you have any queries in the meantime, please contact me on the school number or by email via the staff contacts page.

Following consultation with parents and carers, Governors met to review all of the comments and decided to proceed with the proposed change to the school day from September 2020. The details are outlined in the document below.

These changes will now be finalised with the school bus providers. Despite the change to the structure of the school day, we will continue to be open from 7am to 4.30pm each day. (Our school library will be supervised from 2.45pm to 4.30pm from Monday to Thursday every week during term time.)
