DUE TO OUR SCHOOL EXPANSION, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher of English who shares our commitment to educational excellence and social inclusion whilst supporting the leadership of our very successful English department. English is at the centre of pupil achievement here at Archbishop Temple Church of England High School. We have a highly dedicated, motivated and extremely successful department made up of six full-time teachers, all of whom are experienced subject specialists. Pupils’ attitudes to learning are overwhelmingly positive, which is reflected in the consistently outstanding results achieved at GCSE. At GCSE level, our pupils study the Eduqas English Language and Literature specifications, receiving up to four hours a week of lesson time with the same teacher for the entire course.
