To celebrate World Book Day, on Thursday 1st March 2018, staff and pupils will be taking time out of their first lesson to put everything down and start reading. This will be a great opportunity for pupils, and staff, to get stuck into the book they bring into school every day (all pupils should carry a reading book!).
World Book Day will also see the launch of the Scholastic Book Fair in the library. At break and lunchtimes pupils will be able to browse books and select one to buy. The book will then be put to one side. They will be given a slip to take home, parents and carers can then pay for the book online via Scopay. Once the book is paid for your child can then come and pick it up. The book fair run for a week in the library.
