We are delighted to launch our virtual Careers Event. As you may well be aware, at the beginning of February each year we hold our popular Careers Evening. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to hold the event in school, so instead, we have worked hard to ensure the event goes ahead online. Many of the employers, local colleges and sixth forms that your son or daughter would have spoken to in person have very kindly created and shared videos, documents and details of career pathways, apprenticeships and courses. 


At the following link, you will find details and links to apprenticeships with BAE Systems, Leyland Trucks, Thompson Building Service Engineers, Training 2000 and Westinghouse. You will also be able to find out more information about careers with Aerialworx, Army, Bank of England, Civil Service, Eric Wright Group, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, McDonalds, RAF, Rosemere Cancer Centre’s Radiotherapy Department and the Royal Navy.

If your son or daughter wishes to go on to further education they can find out about courses and training at Cardinal Newman College, Edge Hill University, Hutton Church of England Grammar Sixth Form, Kirkham Grammar Sixth Form, Lancaster Girls Grammar Sixth Form, Lancaster Royal Grammar Sixth Form, Myerscough College, Preston’s College, Runshaw College and UCLAN.
