In the last two weeks, pupils in years 7 and 8 have had the opportunity to take part in a Lenten Reflection in the Chapel, during their RE lesson time. Each pupil has reflected upon the temptations they face in their own lives whilst also dedicating time to think about those who may need help, and practical ways in which they can make a positive difference. We have listened to Bible readings and some beautiful worship songs from the Taize community. It has been lovely to take some quiet time to reflect upon what we can do during Lent to make a positive difference, both in our own lives and the lives of others.
As we approach the Easter holidays, the Chapel is open each break and lunchtime, where a series of activities are being delivered to pupils, all based on the theme of Lent. We look forward to welcoming the pupils each day.
