Busy start to the season, with both the year 8 and year 9 football teams winning in the Preston League and Schools Football Cup. Stars were Meg R, Dion S, Aidan M & Sam W.
Late September saw the under 16 girls and under 12 girls football teams drop out of the Lancashire and National Cup against two very strong teams. Stars of the games Rose, Mia H and Taylor G. There are plenty more games to come for all!
The under 15 girls football team and year 7 B boys football team progressed in the Schools Football Cup in awful wet conditions. The under 15 girls won 8-2 and year 7 boys on pens! Stars Mia H, Archie R and Charlie P.
In the netball, year 10s won and year 9’s lost against St Cecilia's Catholic High School in the Preston League. Star players were Sophie K and Shyah S.
The year 9 football team lost in Lancashire Cup and year 7 A boys football team won on pens after a 5-5 classic in the National Cup. Stars of the day Taylor AC, Archie W and a goal from his own half from Alfie L
The year 10 football team won in the National Cup and there was more than 50 boys at year 7 and 8 football practice. Stars of the day were Carson G and Luke T.
Congratulations to pupils from all year groups who represented Archbishop Temple in Preston Schools Cross Country on Wednesday evening. You performed brilliantly and special shout-out to Ava in year 10 for coming first in the senior girls' race!
