A pupil in year 9 has made a kind donation to the Little Princess Trust. Adrija has kindly donated her hair to the charity to help children who have lost their hair. The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions.
"We are so proud of Adrija's kindness, compassion and bravery in having her haircut for such an amazing cause," said Miss Shaw, Assistant Headteacher.
Since 2006, The Little Princess Trust has provided more than 12,000 wigs and has given grants totalling more than £17 million towards research projects focussed on finding more effective treatments for childhood cancers.
