We are delighted to be able to participate in the Royal Society Young People’s Book Prize again this year. Six pupils from years 7, 8 and 9 had the privilege of judging the six shortlisted books, reviewing them and voting for their favourite.
The Young People's Book Prize aims to promote literacy in young people and to inspire them to read about science. It also supports the writing of excellent, accessible STEM books for under-14s.
Our panel of six judges really enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to the awards ceremony in March.
