Last night, our year 11 rugby team played against Our Lady's Catholic High School, under the lights of Preston Grasshoppers' first team pitch. The final score was 34 - 34. It was a close and exciting game with end-to-end action. The team focussed on being effective in open play and committed to a brave defence. We went behind for a portion of the match but showed great character to keep battling and even up the score with the last play of the game. A draw was probably a fair result in the end showing two great teams who didn't have much to separate them. Well done to both sides, we'll be looking forward to the next match!
