On Friday, we had the opportunity of hearing a guest speaker in school. Year 7, 8 and 9 had a full hour of Collective Worship with Simon Guillebaud. He told some amazing stories of his time in Berundi, Africa. He showed us photos that stirred us with laughter, compassion and even anger. Throughout the whole presentation Simon invited us to think about the God of the impossible who loves everyone so much so he gave his life for us. The challenge as we left was to remember the miraculous healings and interventions by God in these stories and consider stepping out in faith to follow Jesus and follow him to wherever it may take us.
