Year 7 pupils have been practicing their mapwork skills in groups in Geography using the Blackpool and Preston Ordnance Survey Explorer maps.

Year 8 pupils have been conducting microclimate fieldwork around school using their homemade weather instruments and iPad apps. Pupils also took the time to observe flood conditions and make links between weather and river drainage basin topics.
Year 8 pupils have been developing skills in data presentation and data interpretation using our new school weather station.
