A group of pupils in year 9 are looking forward to reading the twenty-two titles in the Lancashire Book of the Year longlist. Lancashire Book of the Year is the longest running young people's regional book award in the country. Archbishop Temple Church of England High School is one of twenty-four schools in Lancashire taking part. Pupils read and shortlist the books before choosing the overall winner. As well as reading, shortlisting and voting for their favourite books, the pupils will also be attending three Lancashire Book of the Year events with Mrs Rigg, our school librarian. We will keep you posted!
