UCLan's Confucius Institute has confirmed that the Chinese Language Lunch Club will run again on a weekly basis from the week beginning 15th January 2024. Pupils have really enjoyed coming along to the club each week this term. They have learned how to introduce themselves in Chinese, found out about how to talk about the food they like and dislike, learned about different Chinese festivals and how to talk about family. They had a great time last week learning how to count by playing card games. Pupils have learned Chinese symbols and what they represent and the symbols for numbers.
If your son or daughter would like to come along next time, they are welcome. Please ask them to speak to their teacher of Modern Foreign Languages.
