On Tuesday, pupils came to watch 5 bands battle it out to become champions. Flowers (Miley, Orla, Abigail, and Jenny), Cymbal (Ellie, Ava, Phoebe, Hannah, and Holly), J Riot (Ruby, Otis, Isaac, Theo, and Jahi), Bliss (Alfie, Seth, and Suri) and Green Scene (Isaac, Leo, and Ben) all played one song to impress the audience. Pupils voted with their iPads, and the winners were crowned.
J Riot won over the crowd with their cover of Dreams by Fleetwood Mac. As a prize, they will be recording their song to be posted on YouTube. A commemorative vinyl will also be created to celebrate their victory.
All in all, the event was a great opportunity for the children to show off their talents and hard work. See you all next year for the next Battle of the Bands!
