We have received a lovely thank you card from the children at Derian House for all the fundraising our year 7 pupils have been doing.
Year 7 have organised and taken part in a variety of fundraising events including a sponsored walk on the mental health drop down day, a bake sale and the year 7 disco.
Later this term, all year 7 forms will be taking part in Derian House's £20 challenge. Each form will receive £20 from the charity with which they can use to create more funds for Derian House. So, for example, they could buy items with the £20 to sell on for a profit or create a pay-to-enter competition with a £20 prize. All the profits, plus the £20, will be donated back to Derian House. We imagine there will be some very enterprising fundraising ideas generated by our year 7 forms!
