It is World Book Day on Thursday 7th March and so we are hosting a week of activities in school to celebrate.
Thank you to all pupils who brought books in for the Book Swap last week. The Book Swap is underway in the library and there are some great titles for children and young people to choose from.
On Wednesday morning, a Book Quiz will take place. Staff have each chosen their favourite book or a memorable work of fiction. They are on display around school for pupils to view. As part of the quiz, all pupils will be asked questions about each staff members' choice.
At lunch on Wednesday, origami will take place in the library, on Thursday book binding and on Friday bookmark making.
Thank you to everyone who adopted a book. We were absolutely delighted with the response, receiving funding to buy 45 brand new books for our school library. As soon as they have been purchased and a book plate placed inside the book, a photograph will be sent to you.
