Since March, we have been caring for some caterpillars in the Base. Over the last 8 weeks, we have observed their exciting changes on a daily basis. The pupils have watched them grow as caterpillars, shed their exoskeletons, become chrysalides, and eventually emerge as beautiful Painted Lady butterflies. After observing and feeding them for a few days, we set them free on the school field.
