Eco club has been busy clearing an area for a small wildflower meadow, planting more trees and and growing broad beans and sweet peas on tepees at the front of school. The greenhouse is being used to encourage our sunflower seedlings to grow, and we are continuing to propagate succulents to distribute around school. We are currently researching new outdoor classroom spaces for our Chaplaincy Garden.
We look forward to attending the school eco-conference at Blackburn Football Club on Thursday 27th June, where pupils will take part in a range of workshops and competitions, and Mrs Ogden can take part in special CPD staff training in enhancing sustainability in school.
