A great day at city athletics saw the juniors (years 7 and 8) win the competition and seniors (years 9 and 10) coming third. The competition, that included all schools in Preston, was a fantastic event held at UCLAN Sports Arena. There were some amazing performances on the day with everyone doing their bit to secure the most points possible. Most notably Josh M (300m), Alfie L (Triple Jump), Konrad M (300m), Liana E (Long Jump), Rose W (Discus), Ellie H (Triple Jump) and Lucia B (High Jump) who all placed first in their event.
Silver medals were won by Ellie WM (200m), Isla M (1500), Isabelle P(Hurdles), Amelia C (High Jump), Chloe F (Javelin), Mia L (Javelin), Olivia T (800m), Megan R (300m), Jack P (800m), Harry V (Long Jump), Petru B (Discus), Max M (1500m), Sam W (Javelin), Sam A (Long Jump) and Noah B (Hurdles).
Bronze winners were Joe P (1500m), Cyrus BC (Shot Put), Josh H (Triple Jump), Harvey F (800m), Alexa M (200m), Eva W (800m), Nikola N (Discus), Shyah S (Shot Putt), Natalia Z (Long Jump), Kaitlyn S (1500m) and Jaedah H (200m).
