We were privileged to welcome Rachael Dodgson from Parliament Education Outreach to discuss the election, voting and how laws get passed. It was fantastic for Year 9 to hear about how parliament works - particularly after a focus on this in Temple Time and the recent election.
Afterwards, pupils enjoyed a workshop focussing on creating their own political party, creating a manifesto and then presenting to each other. Finally, we finished with a vote!
