Archbishop Temple Church of England High School, Preston, is proud to announce another year of outstanding GCSE results, reflecting the dedication, resilience, and hard work of our pupils, staff, and the entire school community.
Headteacher, Ivan Catlow expressed immense pride in the achievements of this year’s cohort. “Our students have once again demonstrated exceptional perseverance and commitment in their studies, achieving results that are truly reflective of their hard work and determination. These results are a testament not only to the pupils’ dedication but also to the unwavering support of our talented and passionate staff, who have gone above and beyond yet again.”
This year, 90% of our pupils achieved a pass in English 88% achieving a pass in Mathematics and a number of subjects achieving a 100% pass rate
Mr Catlow also highlighted the importance of community and support in achieving such remarkable results: “The success we celebrate today is a collective achievement. Our school community, parents, carers, and the wider community have been instrumental in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for our students, and we are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support.”
In addition to academic success, the Headteacher acknowledged the broader achievements of students. “At Archbishop Temple Church of England High School, we believe in developing well-rounded individuals. Alongside their academic achievements, our pupils have excelled in extracurricular activities and sports, embodying the values of Faith, Nurture and Service in all they do.”
Looking ahead, Archbishop Temple Church of England High School is excited about the future prospects of its pupils. “Our pupils are now well-prepared to embark on the next stage of their educational journeys, whether that be in further education, apprenticeships, or other pathways.
