The Modern Foreign Languages Department had a lot to celebrate yesterday, after receiving nearly 30 entries into the European Day of Languages Bake Off competition.
"We were absolutely delighted to receive so many fabulous entries," said Mrs Jimenez. "It was clear that all of the entrants had taken a lot of time planning, baking and creating their cakes over the weekend. The quality was very impressive!"
A panel of judges from the Technology Department and school office judged the entries. Each entry will receive 5 Light points and there will be certificates and prizes awarded.
