Today is the start of the Lent season. We have marked this with these crosses, we also have a large cross in the main hall and a creative prayer space in the chapel. One of our key verses for this time reminds us of the time Jesus was in the wilderness. We’re encouraging the pupils to consider this season as a time of reflection and renewal with God.
Mt 4:1-2
Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.
