Thank you to all pupils, parents, carers, staff and the wider school community for all your kind donations to the Ukraine Emergency Appeal. You donated around 50 large bags and boxes packed full of canned and packet food, toiletries, sanitary products, nappies and medicines. We have been bowled over by your generosity!
Miss Walsh, Head of Year 10, delivered the donations to the International Aid Trust on Monday 14th March, along with two pupils from year 9.
“There were three other vehicles unloading when we arrived,” said Miss Walsh, “and about a dozen people helping sort through all the donations. Before we returned to school we helped sort the donations into boxes. They would welcome anyone who can spare even a few minutes to help. They send their thanks for all the kind donations.”
