This week in collective worship we have been thinking about the theme of grace. Here was our key verse in John's gospel;

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

(John 1:14)

We focussed on this word grace or 'undeserved love' as it is often described. We also looked at the story of John Newton who went from the slave trade to finding salvation in Christ. He expressed his deep gratitude by writing the famous song Amazing Grace. Two of our pupils, Anna and Ellie played and sang a modern version of this song written by Chris Tomlin. The girls did a fantastic job, it has been very powerful all week, enjoy watching them on the film below. And let's all remember that the grace of God is available to all, through 'God's Riches At Christ's Expense'.
