We were delighted to welcome Yvonne Barnard, Clinical Educator - Ultrasound, to school to talk to our year 7 pupils about careers in diagnostic radiography.
Pupils had the opportunity to take part in a fun interactive quiz about radiography as well as learning about cross-sectional imaging, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology and radiotherapy. They also found out about what sort of person you need to be to be a radiographer and about one radiographer's career journey.
Yvonne Barnard came into school to talk to pupils as part of National Careers Week. Throughout the week, pupils will be encouraged to think about different careers and explore careers linked to the subjects they are studying.
