We were delighted to welcome Dan Crumblehulme and Lindzey Napoli, from Preston College, into school today to talk to our year 8 pupils about apprenticeships.

Dan gave pupils an overview of apprenticeships, how they work and talked about the benefits and opportunities that they can bring. He talked about the apprenticeship opportunities on offer at Preston College and gave pupils an understanding of the pathways into apprenticeships. It was interesting to find out that people can start an apprenticeship at any age, with some people choosing to transition onto apprenticeships following full time post 16 education.

Thank you to Dan and Lindzey for giving year 8 pupils an insight into apprenticeships as part of National Careers Week.

Preston College is holding an open event for pupils in years 10 and 11 on Wednesday 8th March, from 4pm - 7pm. See the Preston College website for details.
