This morning, pupils in year 10 had the opportunity to find out about the range of apprenticeships Training 2000 offers. The training provider works in conjunction with UCLan and offers vacancies within a variety of different industries including automotive technologies, dental, optical, business administration, accountancy, engineering and manufacturing, scaffolding and more.
Vicki Webster, from Training 2000, talked about apprenticeship entry requirements, how to apply and about how apprenticeship training works, including the many benefits. Vicki also talked about the apprenticeship pathway to studying for a degree, either full time or whilst working as a degree level apprentice and talked about Training 2000's Apprenticeship Preparation Programme, a 20 week course which enables students to try our different industries and decide which one they would like to pursue as an apprentice.
Thank you to Vicki for coming in to talk about the different opportunities available at Training 2000.
