As you are probably aware, over the past two weeks forms have been raising money for different charities. Pupils have been coming up with lots of innovative ideas to fundraise, from bake sales, to sweet sales, to guess the amount of sweets in the jar to simply requesting donations. However, one form came up with different idea, 11S decided to hold a penalty shoot out. Mrs Baybutt's form not only came up with the idea, they marketed it in school, sold tickets and ran the event. As you can see the shoot-out was incredibly popular, with over 50 pupils taking part and many more keen to watch despite the inclement weather.
Special thanks to Harry from 11S who did a tremendous job in goal and thank you to all the staff who helped out. Congratulations to Hashim S, from year 7, who won the star prize a £10 Amazon voucher. All the money raised will go to the year 11 charity Cancer Research.
