This morning, year 11 found out about the opportunities available through the National Citizen Service programme. NCS has been delivering programmes to young people in England since its pilot programme back in 2009. With the support of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport it has since taken over half a million young people on the programme and offers a variety of opportunities. It was also a great opportunity to award pupils with their bronze and silver star certificates. Miss Porter, Head of Year 11, awarded bronze star certificates to those pupils who have achieved 150 Light points and silver star certificates to those pupils who have achieved 200 Light points.
