Congratulations to the year 9 pupils who have been selected as prefects.
The year 9 prefects start their duties today, supporting staff on break and lunch duty. Their role includes monitoring the pod queues and doors, directing pupils into school when the bell goes, litter picking, encouraging pupils in years 7 and 8 to assist with litter picking and assisting staff to monitor behaviour on the yard, reporting any incidents to a member of staff.
All year 9 prefects will be awarded with light points in return for the duties they carry out. Thank you to everyone who volunteered for the roles, your contribution to school life will be invaluable.
